Fabric has become another means of making for me in recent years. Discovering its potential in an installation course during my time at USM, I began playing with it as a means of drawing, both objectively and non-objectively. Using upcycled fabrics, sometimes rugs, other times discarded clothing, I pursue a particular philosophical idea, as opposed to my typically more intuitive approach.
Below you will find galleries of several of my completed works. I typically tend towards fabric in site-specific installations, but have created a few sculptures that are available for display. If you are interested in commissioning one of my fabric works, please email me at mail@richardhudon.com.
